Leadership and Management Programme (LaMP)
Objectives
• To understand your leadership and management style and be more effective in getting results
• To learn and implement proven management techniques
• To lead and motivate your staff
• To enhance service to internal and external customers
• To increase responsibility and accountability
• To manage well in a tough economic climate
Format
The programme consists of 9 half-day training sessions plus an individual coaching programme:
• You will have a Pre-Course Interview (PCI), then telephone and e-mail access to the LAMP coach for the duration of the 9 week programme.
• You will have a personal review / surgery session with your Coach after Sessions 4 to review progress on the programme and to facilitate successful completion of the Innovation and / or Planning improvement projects.

* Coaching skills for improved performance - getting staff to make effective decisions
* Personal Organisation and Prioritisation – Time Management
* Mid-Point Reviews: one-on-one coaching to progress projects and personal learning
* Energising the Team – Delegation skills and Effective Communication
* Problem-Solving, effective Decision Making skills and Risk Analysis
* Maintaining Peak Performance: Motivating Staff and Transformational Leadership
* Ensuring continuous improvement and developing exceptional teamwork
